Can you believe it’s snowing again?!

Local Ride News — March 8, 2006

I guess we were thrown off by a few days of sunshine and called “Spring!” a little too early. Not to worry, the wind and sleet should die down by the end of the week and things will be back on track. Until then, we still have enough fenders, rain gear and waterproof panniers to keep you dry while you ride.

They’re back in action this Sunday as they battle Armstrong Hill 11 times in the 83-kilometre race.

Local Ride Racing Team
The Local Ride Racing Team had a successful racing clinic in Langley with coach Judy Latoski last Saturday. Judy’s tips and advice have given Barry, Rob, Gord, Roy, Shane, Steve and Brad a definite edge for the kickoff of the Langley Spring Series this Sunday, March 5. They’re making a race plan, folks. We’re going to see big things from these guys. Join the fan club and cheer them on!

Rumour has it, Race the Ridge 2006, scheduled for April 29-30, will be bigger and better than ever, with three races (better start your TT training at Golden Ears — hint, hint!) and a BEER GARDEN (must be of legal drinking age — that applies to you too, Barry and Brad)!
