Jasmin sits 2nd on GC after 2 stages

Rich Machhien of Local Ride Racing, continued what he started at the Westside Classic by claiming his second major victory of the season, winning the Tour de Delta crit this past Saturday evening. Held on a perfect crit course – flat and fast – Rich was able to easily distance the field in the final sprint even after being in the days main break.

Meanwhile, Local Ride/Dr. Vie Superfoods+ also had a strong performance. Jasmin, sitting third of GC to start the crit, made it into a four person break that included teammate Jess Hannah. With Laura and Steph in the main pack disrupting the chase, the break away managed to lap the field setting up a four person sprint for the win. Unfortunately Jasmin only managed 2nd, meaning she still trails on GC by 6 points to the Day 1 and 2 winner.
